“I have worked for Juan and absolutely love what I am doing. I worked with Juan and his staff for about 2 years prior to that. I have almost 29 years of experience in many fields and decided to try corrections nursing. I pride myself in my skills and knowledge and Juan allows you to do whatever you are comfortable with. Juan has always been very supportive of his staff and is a great boss. He has a lot of respect for his employees and is very willing to work with whatever schedule you prefer. The nursing group is a pleasure to work for and I plan on retiring with them. The nursing group only hires the best.”

Chanel RN

” Hello fellow medical lovers. My name is Chanel Hodge. I have been a Registered Nurse for over 10 years. The majority of my nursing experience has been in critical care. However I am the jack of all trades. I’ve worked, are you ready, in ICU, IMC, Tele, PACU, Med/Surg, Neuro, Ortho, ER, Home health, and as House Supervisor to a 264 bed major hospital in Austin. I love it all that’s why I decided to add agency work to my belt. I enjoy the flexible scheduling and variety it provides. I have the tendency to get bored so who knows what’s next. I live by the motto “Life is to short to live it unhappily”. So I enjoy every second of life I have.”

“I am an ICU, PACU and Pre-OP RN. I have been working with Nursing Group for 3 years. It is by far the most flexible agency/travel company that I have ever worked for. The pay is extremely competitive and the flexibility has allowed me to spend more time with my family and travel often. Juan is always available to help with any needs that may arise. It is a top notch company.”

” I have been working for Juan for over two years now and can honestly say, “I have never looked back!” Most of my nursing experience has been in Critical Care as a traveling ICU nurse; however, Juan gave me a suggestion to try Corrections Nursing. I wasn’t sure if I would like it or not, but I am always game for a new experience. I can honestly say it is by far the best nursing job I have EVER had! I love the facility and working with patients who are truly grateful for anything you can do for them. (Not to mention how much I have learned about psych-nursing!)
I am currently finishing up my Family Nurse Practitioner Degree, so the flexibility of being an Agency Nurse is perfect between school, family, and running my mini-farm. I feel very lucky to be a part of Nursing Group!!”

“I previously worked for Nursing Group and had a great experience. Juan hires top caliber nurses and is an AMAZING boss. I have worked for contract companies before, but this was a different experience. Juan cares about his employee’s and helps them develop their career. I consider myself very motivated and have a strong work ethic and I see these attributes in the other nurses Nursing Group employs. Nursing Group, and Juan in particular, helped me to take the next step in my career by providing me with invaluable career advice and a great reference in my next career move to the pharmaceutical research industry as a nurse consultant. If you have a choice to make regarding your next job position…..choose NURSING GROUP!.”

“I’m an ER travel nurse by trade and have worked for a variety of hospitals and agencies in my various travels. Nursinggroup has by far been the easiest to work for with the best pay and agency support that I have encountered in my travels thus far. This is an agency that was formed on word of mouth and is selective on it’s membership. If you consider your self in the top 5% of nurses in skills and otherwise then this is the place for you.”

“I have worked for Juan for over a year now, and knew him on a professional level before that for about six months. I have been nothing but pleased with his support, advocacy for the profession of nursing, and his outstanding business practices. He always pays on time, and he works very hard to place you in facilities that not only fit your skill levels, but where you are always welcomed and made to feel good about the work you do. He is wonderful to work with and for. I love the Nursing Group nurses. He hires excellent people who really care about their patients and the quality of care that they give them. Working for Nursing Group has given me a great perspective of different areas of nursing, as well as different facilities to work in. Being an agency nurse with Nursing Group gives you flexibility in your schedule, and allows you more freedom to do the things you like to do. Nursing Group definitely gives you the support, advocacy, and flexibility you need to be financially successful and professionally satisfied.”
